Kemono operates through a simple community-powered system. Subscribers contribute content they have access to, which is then organized and made searchable for everyone.
Users with active subscriptions to creator platforms use the Kemono importer tool. They submit their session token to import all their subscribed creator content automatically.
The importer retrieves posts, images, videos, files, and metadata from the original creator's page. Everything is organized chronologically and stored in Kemono's database.
